Public Procurement is the process by which the government buys Goods, Works, and Services using public money. Different ministries, departments, authorities, and state-owned enterprises use a substantial amount of taxpayers’ money for public procurement. The government of Bangladesh took a comprehensive initiative to enhance the performance of public procurement as part of its efforts to strengthen the management of public resources.
